The ever growing – and ever changing – to-do list in no particular order:

2014 and beyond

  • Install floors in family room
  • Install floors in master bedroom
  • Set up master bedroom closet
  • Move in to master bedroom
  • Expand studio space for the hubby
  • Build deck
  • Set up a veggie garden
  • Remodel office and hallway bathrooms and install new vanities and fixtures
  • Crown molding throughout the house
  • Repave the existing driveway
  • Covered patio
  • Remodel the master bathroom! The ugliest bathroom ever
  • Finish the landscaping
  • Hurricane impact windows throughout the house
  • Shed for random storage
  • Update plumbing where needed
  • Walkway to the house from the driveway and along the side of the house
  • Fix fence on right front side of the house
  • Install a pool!
  • Finish furnishing the house
  • Collect more artwork

Already completed…

  • Rip out carpet
  • Take down ceiling tiles in family room, bathrooms and master
  • Gut the kitchen
  • Install new drywall for kitchen ceiling
  • Replace all outlets and light switches
  • Remove unit A/C and seals and finish the holes
  • Refinish hardwoods and install new hardwoods in bar, kitchen, family room and master bedroom
  • Change front door
  • Change back door 
  • Install new door to master bedroom
  • Install drywall to create master bedroom ceiling
  • Move into the master bedroom
  • Install fans and light fixtures
  • Install new fence and fix current fence for the mutts
  • Clean up landscaping and cut down excess shrubbery and trees
  • Lay sod and pavers to clean up yard
  • Set up orchids and patio furniture
  • Fill in the “litterbox”
  • Paint, paint, paint
