I love my Canon Rebel! I bought it for taking pics of the boys… but now it is attached to my side with any project!

Picmonkey and Picasa are pretty much replacing picnik for me.
Have fun!

Hi Anna, stopping by from Tiffany’s blog. Just saw your craft room and I just adore it.
Yay, on your new camera, I have a canon but not as nice as yours 🙂

I love my Canon Rebel! You will have lots of fun with it. I use Picasa but Microsoft picture manager is actually pretty nice for basic white balance, cropping etc. Tell your hubby he has to stay away from this one! (oh and mine is always covered in sparkles)

Sweet camera!! I have a Rebel T2i and it is way more camera than I know what to do with. I use Photoshop Elements and feel that is ample for any editing i need. Picnic was nice with those easy effects. I bought a 50mm lens (about $99) right after I got the camera. My best pics were taken with that lens. Congrats on the new camera!!!

I just bought the Canon Rebel T3i and I’m learning how to use it as well. So far my pics are better than with my old camera, but I still have a lot of tweaking ahead of me!

Congrats on the camera, Anna! I got one right after last Thanksgiving and LOVE IT. I used to hate taking pictures and I have now turned into that annoying amateur photographer–just ask my husband. I too got a 50mm lens, the 1.8f, which you will absolutely love for getting blurry backgrounds and bokeh. And it’s cheap as far as lenses go. I’ve been using PicMonkey lately and like it better than Picnik (or will once they get it all up and running).

pic monkey – is founded by two exmembers of the picnik team. It features all the same things as picnik but they have updated it too!
