I told you I was hooked on vinyl. It was so easy and I loved the results so I decided to to recreate a past favorite around here – my start being awesome painting.
My original stencil art gave me a bunch of features and drove a ton of traffic to my blog. I was so excited (and still am) seeing this getting pinned as much as it did. I made two of these start being awesome paintings as gifts but honestly loved it so much I wanted my own.
This mini version is on a 6 X 8 inch canvas. The original one was on a 16 X 20 inch canvas so it really needed a dedicated space. This new one is perfect to display anywhere. I followed the same technique I used in my first vinyl stencil project for this one.
I didn’t get close ups of the canvas once I started peeling of the vinyl letters for my first attempt, so I thought it would be useful for some of you to see this part.
And now I finally have my very own version of one of my favorite sayings. It is the perfect size for my cube at work too.
