Thanks again for your patience the last week or so. I started my week of freedom yesterday and I’m starting to feel normal again. I spent the day crafting with my best friend, which only means that can this be a great week. I can’t believe I have no job for 5 full working days. The last time that was the case, my age started with a 1. Um, yeah…
From now on (or until I run out of ideas), Tuesdays will feature my current crushes whatever they may be. And if everything falls into place, when I talk about one of my crushes, you will hopefully see it incorporated into my home or crafts soon.
Besides the peacock teal I’ve been drooling over lately, one of my other loves is a herringbone pattern. Chevron is fun, but to be honest I’ve always favored herringbone…it might be because one of my favorite business slacks are a perfect gray herringbone. Whatever the case may be, here are some of the reasons why I love it so.

I never really got the whole chevron craze. It’s okay, but it isn’t something I’d decorate my whole house in. I think herringbone is far more distinguished and classic. I like it. Again, I wouldn’t decorate my whole house in it, but I like well enough.
after my dog peed on my zebra rug the other day i have been looking at new rugs… one is a herringbone. but i am leaning towards another= now to convince my husband that we need to buy a new one. and thank you for the shout out!
Herringbone for me all the way. I never took to the Chevron the way everyone else seemed to.
