Sometimes life gets too crazy for the big projects around the house that are left to be done and I can’t commit the time to work on a full scale craft projects. When that happens, I try to keep busy with the little things. It makes me feel like I’m actually accomplishing something even if I only have 5 minutes here and there. Last week was finals weeks for me in grad school so everything else took a back seat. When I needed a sanity break from studying I worked on a few of these to keep me going.
Hung up two of my vintage album covers for my inspiration wall in the craft room. The Dylan one is signed and the Beatles one is an all-time favorite. A reveal of this wall will be coming soon 🙂
Made a quick little Mod Podge door sign with scrapbook paper to let people know there is a cat in the room. When we have workers in the house or lots of people over, I close the cat into the craft room so she doesn’t freak out since she is not a fan of crowds.
I also framed two little paintings of my grandmother’s I’ve had in a drawer since she passed away. She passed away over 10 years ago which is crazy to me but I finally found places I wanted to display them. It makes me smile to see them.
That’s all for now! I have a month off from school and I’m excited to use all my free time for house stuff and crafting. I can’t fathom what to do with all that free time…it has been a year since I’ve had a school break this long.
