Have you seen Crate and Barrel’s new catalog? They are debuting some new styles and I have to say, I’m really loving it. I especially like the trip into the 1950s style.

I’d love to have our house sprinkled with more original mid-century pieces but sometimes they are not the in budget or the right piece can’t be found. It is nice to see the style cropping up as new furniture now too.

I love C&B….just don’t love the prices! 🙁
My favorite part about this new/old style is the pointy legs on chairs and desks/dressers. Like Suzy-Q however, I think the prices are a bit daunting! i like to peruse the store and then find cheaper equivalents on Craigslist.
It really seems like you should be able to get those iconic pointy leg things made and then just stick them on furniture you like no? I’m not huge into mid-century but I love the clean lines of that coffee table!
