Since digital cameras took over we have been horrendous at printing pictures. Even more so when our lives were taken over by iPhones. Tell me we are not alone? We don’t have kids so I really had no excuse in my mind to start printing pictures for albums. I have so many shots I would want somewhere else besides my phone, but have been very lazy about it. In comes the idea of a DIY Instagram photo display. This is all over blogland already, but I finally got around to printing out some pictures with Printicular. I was so happy with the service. I had them done at my local Walgreen’s and within a few hours I had my prints ready for pick up.

I had some leftover wood that I painted the same gray I just refinished a table with (more on that soon). Added some baker’s twine to match the decor and those mini clothespins I love. And that was it…seriously. I now have my very own DIY Instagram photo display, which I can update year round. You are even seeing a sneak peek for a furniture refinishing project in the family room in this pic.

I was really happy with the print quality from Walgreen’s and Printicular. I paid less than $7 (with a coupon) for 25 prints. The quality of the pic is dependent on your phone camera if you go that route, but I was happy with the output from my iPhone 5.

Getting to see some of my favorite faces – both human or animal – on display makes me happy. I love this pic of my friends and me at one of my bestie’s weddings. It was a fabulous night and even more fab pre-party. These are the little things to get you to smile on a daily basis.
