Remodeling the blog!

I finally decided to give the blog an upgrade to WordPress yesterday. Everything seems to have worked perfectly fine in terms of my post, feed, followers, etc. In my excitement to transfer over, I didn’t quite finalize my design. So just pretend it looks pretty while I fix it.

I had every intention of finalizing it yesterday but instead I was showing a good friend and her husband around Miami and indulging in one very large mojito.

Hope you had a good weekend! Hopefully I’ll be sporting a brand new look in the next few days.

Hi Andrea! Yea, it was a fun Sunday! I did the switch myself. Found a few minor things that have thrown me off but I’m working through it so far. I think I’m going to write up some notes and share once I figure it out.

I would take a mojito over work EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I have been debating about switching… Maybe this is my year! Love the new layout though! Very clean and simple!

It’s oh so pretty! Did you design the wordpress template yourself? I haven’t found one I like all that much yet and am just making due with what I have for now.

Hi Julia! Thanks for the compliments! I did not design my own theme. I purchased one on ThemeForest.com that had the functionality that I wanted. I’m still working through migrating my design over and working with my original designer to make edits to this as possible. I used http://www.733design.com/ for my original design and was really happy with her work. Hopefully I get it back up to that level soon!
