big & little t-shirts – personalized gifts for siblings

April 6, 2012 5 Comments

I mentioned last week that everyone seems to be having kids around me lately. To go with the baby blankets I have been making, I’ve also been working on using my freezer paper tutorial to personalize gifts for siblings. It is always hard to show up with a gift for the new little one and not bring something for the older sibling(s). These seem to be big hit with all the moms and are so easy to make.

This set is for two of my favorite boys, Drew and Parker. Drew is 2 and Parker will be 3 months next week.
This little combo is for the upcoming baby girl shower my friend is hosting. The baby name hasn’t been disclosed yet but they are expecting a girl and the big brother needs his shirt for when his little sister makes her appearance.

Have you tried the freezer paper stencils yet? I’m seriously hooked.
What are the weekend plans? I’m flying back from Denver today. I can’t wait to get home to be with the hubby and the babies. After relaxing tonight, I’m sure we will have a handful of projects to get started on. Have a great weekend!!

Those turned out so nice! Yes, freezer paper stenciling starts out with painting one thing, then you are looking around the house for more things to paint while waiting for your first project to dry! Very thoughtful gift ideas.
