Happy Monday folks! Today is my first day at my new job and I’m actually in route to Denver until Friday. I have a week of meetings which should keep me on my toes for my first week on the job. We had a blast at the wedding this weekend and I have few photos but as expected I had too much fun dancing and drinking with all of our friends. If you follow me on Facebook or on Instagram you may have seen a few sneak peaks.
On Sunday, I finalized the pink and gray baby shower decorations I have been working on. The shower is simple with lots of pink and gray details so I decided to make two banners of sorts – one to serve as a decoration around the food table and another for the cake.
I made a simple bunting banner with silver and pink paper. I used my Silhouette to cut out the shapes and letters making this a pretty easy little project. I used a soft pink satin ribbon to put it all together.
This isn’t the best photo but the whole thing says “Welcome baby”. I just wanted to show how it all hangs together. Such a sweet and simple banner to add to the decor.
This little sign is for the cake. I didn’t attach the sticks to hold it on the cake since I wasn’t sure how big the cake would end up being. This was another simple cut out using my Silhouette, pink and silver paper.
I love that machine and how quickly I can turn out a few decorations to add to a special occasion. My client loved them and promised to give me credit for these and the other decorations she will be using – let’s hope that is the case! 😉
I’m still waiting for pictures from the yellow and gray bridal shower to show you so I’m crossing my fingers that I am able to get some of the pink and gray baby shower decorations from this one.

Yay for the new job! Hopefully by the time you get to Denver the weather will be a little nicer. 80 something yesterday, possibility of snow today. Whatever the weather, welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay.
