I’m coming right out to the point of this post – a fellow blogger and great bloggy friend of mine needs our help. Kari from Newlyweds on a Budget was hit by a car on Saturday while running. It was a hit and run and thankfully the drunk jerk ( I can’t post the exact obscenities I’m using to describe him in my mind) who hit her was caught. She is going to make it but it will be an uphill battle. She has a broken femur, collar bone, elbow, knee and a fractured pelvis. All I ask is that you keep Kari in your thoughts and prayers and take a little trip over to her blog to give her some love. Her husband, Mojo, and sister are reading her comments while she is in recovery.

She is one of the sweetest bloggers out there. She is the type who encourages guest posts, bands together with other bloggers to work grow our blogs, and the one who reaches out when you haven’t blogged in a bit to check in on you as a person. She is a great natured, good-hearted girl who deserves all the love and good thoughts you can spare.

oh my gosh! i am about to hit the shower to get ready to catch my flight, so i am saving this so i can hop over to her blog later tonight. i just can’t imagine- i have heard so much sad news in the past couple days…a friend’s mom has a brain tumor, another friend is getting a separation, and then this… times like these it’s hard to find the reasoning in it all.
Oh my goodness, she’s definitely in our prayers! What a terrible thing to happen!
