I've never been so excited to pour cement. Well, I actually did not pour any of it since each bag of cement weighs 80lbs and it took 16 bags to fill this sucker up. I'm a good supervisor though :)So thankful not to have a giant random planter and waterfall in my family room! In other great news, we moved in this weekend! budget? what budget?
So you know how we intended to have all of our existing hardwoods refinished and some new ones installed in just some areas? We just had to throw that idea out the window and all of our existing floors with it. We knew our floors were damaged and that more of the damage would be apparent when the sanding started but we didn't expect it to be a total loss. the messiest painter
I am by far the messiest painter ever. At least I get the job done! The rooms I painted look great but the paper we used to cover the floors are a mess in most areas...including foot prints from when I stepped in the paint tray and big blobs from knocking over paint cans.While I've only painted half the house, the difference is huge...everything looks so much cleaner and crisper.
