Now that is is finally October, I can start decorating the outside of the house without the neighbors thinking I'm crazy. this is halloween – spider wreaths
I'm loving the Halloween supplies out this year. I found this great spider web ribbon at Michaels and knew it would be great for a wreath. I had two mini wreath forms that were the right size french doors leading to the patio so they seemed like the perfect combination. I made sure to wrap the ribbon with a bit of overlap to cover the form completely but without covering up too much of the design. One of my friends fell in love with this Fourth of July wreath and was inspired to make one for the upcoming holiday. She thinks she is not crafty and asked me to help her make it. what happened to spring?
I admit, living in South Florida I’m quite spoiled in terms of weather. I landed in Chicago yesterday and will be here most of the week on business. It is in the 30s in March. I thought it was spring?! I’m not prepared for this. Thankfully, I own a wool coat and boots but the rest of my wardrobe is seriously lacking for this weather.
