These pesky little things called work and grad school suck up too much time so we haven't been able to spend a few solid days on the kitchen. gluten free anniversary
So this is technically a DIY and decorating blog but today is my three year anniversary of going gluten free after being diagnosed with Celiac disease so for today it is a food blog. raining flowers – orchid tree
One of my favorite things in the house is this beautiful wild orchid tree in our front yard. The color is spectacular and my lawn is always sprinkled with these stunning flowers. It attracts hummingbirds too so I bought this hummingbird feeder from Target to see if I can catch some photos of them...hard as it might be. happy birthday, dear friend
Today would have been the 45th birthday of my dear friend and colleague, Patti. Instead of celebrating with her tonight, we'll be toasting Maker's Mark in her memory. We lost Patti last July to ovarian cancer after a courageous 13-month battle. Throughout it all she never stopped smiling and inspiring all those around her.
