The never-ending room remodel. That is exactly how I feel about our family room update. Yes, I know we are STILL not in our master bedroom after three years but the master isn't used. changes on the horizon – rethinking the floor plan
Ever make it halfway through the insanity of renovation and then decide you want to change things up a bit? That is where I am right now. We bought the house in late 2010 and moved in 2011. I can't be true to myself, or all of you for that matter, if I have a week of all beautiful reveals. Of course some rooms are in pretty good shape like the living room, kitchen and craft room. year 2 – 2012 house renovation plans
2012 marks the beginning of our second year in this house. Some days it feels like we have been here forever, other days I still can't believe we moved. We have made a lot of progress in the past year but there is hopefully a lot more to come in 2012. At least I really hope so. lay of the land – our floor plan
I don't know about you but every time I look at the houses of bloggers if a floor plan is not available I'm always trying to figure out how the rooms are laid out. It must be the genes I get from my architect father, but I always want to know which rooms are connected to which. It really helps gauge the style of the house and flow of the design. master bedroom dreams
I'm jumping the gun and looking at master bedroom ideas. Why do I even bother when our master bedroom currently looks like this?! Relaxing looking room, right? Sigh...it looks more like Home Depot than a master bedroom. For the record we are not sleeping in this room.
