It is no secret that I love my craft supplies. As my collection starts to grow, some things get a bit hard to sort through. I caught myself buying paints I already had because I couldn't see all my colors. I had my stash thrown into one of the cubbies in my craft room, which was just not the most organized way.Enter the lazy susan. I bought two of these at Target for under $6 bucks. Filled them up with my paints and now they are easier to sort through when I give them a spin.I have to give … [Read more...]
start being awesome – a mini stencil painting version
I told you I was hooked on vinyl. It was so easy and I loved the results so I decided to to recreate a past favorite around here - my start being awesome painting. My original stencil art gave me a bunch of features and drove a ton of traffic to my blog. I was so excited (and still am) seeing this getting pinned as much as it did. I made two of these start being awesome paintings as gifts but honestly loved it so much I wanted my own. This mini version is on a 6 X 8 inch canvas. … [Read more...]
shine on you crazy diamond – vinyl stencil art

valentine’s Day white fabric wreath
Hope you all had a lovely weekend! We've been pretty darn lazy these past two weekends. Not productive at all but to be honest, we needed the rest. I shared this wreath over at How to Nest for Less last month but since Valentine's Day (and my birthday!) is right around the corner, I wanted to share it here too. I made the white fabric wreath with the intention of making it simple enough that I could repurpose it for different holidays. Here is what it looks like now, all ready for Valentine's … [Read more...]
backsplash reveal – diy white subway tile
I hope you all had a great weekend. We kept it pretty low key only tackling a few projects around the house and some crafts. Best parts of the weekend were meeting baby Parker (who I made the freezer stencil onesie for) and finally taking pictures of the house!. We can finally share the DIY subway tile backsplash I installed. Our kitchen renovation is ALMOST there. If I wasn't married to Mr. Start-100-Projects-At-One-Time, we would be further along in our renovations instead of having 100 … [Read more...]
repurposing empty frames – guest book or memo board
I wanted to share a quick little versatile project which cost less than $10 to put together - repurposing empty frames are easy and inexpensive ways to add a little something to party. My favorite part of this project is that it can be tailored to any decor or occasion. Some of you might have seen this when I shared this over atLiving Savvy's Spray Painters Anonymous Meeting last month. Just in case you didn't or are a new follower, I thought I'd share it here as well. This is my hanging memo … [Read more...]
